When we decided to transition from one center screen to three screens on stage, we knew that choosing the correct software would be an integral part of the transition. We chose ProPresenter due to its ability to handle multiple screens with ease. We use a 27 inch iMac with an upgraded video card in the tech booth, which runs ProPresenter 5 and the Multi-Screen Module. The iMac feeds a Matrox TripleHead2Go, which splits the signal into three separate outputs. Since… continue reading »

While we’ve used words keyed over IMAG shots on the side IMAG projections screens for some time, the unfortunate side effect is that all eyes are focused to the right and left of the stage. Utilizing the Master Control Module in ProPresenter 5, we were able to control a secondary ProPresenter machine (Mac Mini) with a TripleHead2Go attached to three LCD displays for which we made a custom mount. This dramatically enhances the worship environment by allowing eyes to center… continue reading »
I wanted to test out Renewed Vision’s ProPresenter 5 in different church environments where the architecture presented alternative challenges due to shape and size, plus where the brick work verses plastered white walls might impact on projection Images. CHURCH 1: Christ the Redeemer Church in West Belfast, based in Northern Ireland. It was a very wide church and I use 3 projectors, ProPresenter 5 and Matrox TripleHead2Go to fill its expanse. The effect was very effective. It took a churches… continue reading »
For this set-up, I’m using the Matrox TripleHead2Go DP edition to allow me to drive LED walls, a center screen, and lower thirds for IMAG simultaneously with one computer running Propresenter 5. I set the resolution of the Matrox to 4080 x 768 and send three separate signals of 1360 x 768 to the appropriate places. The left output on my computer goes to our video switcher which controls the IMAG screens that flank the stage. During times of music, I’ll… continue reading »
Seven screen staging project utilizing a single Mac Pro. The two big outboard screens were our landscape IMAG screens and were fed by video switcher. The 5 inside portrait screens were 4 13.5′ x 24′ rear projection screens and a center LED wall that measured 16′ x 25′ and was on tracks that moved it forward and backward. Used a 2014 Mac Pro (8 Core with 32GB RAM, 1TB of Flash Storage, Upgraded D7000 Graphics Cards). Outputs were a 1080… continue reading »
