Purpose

Renewed Vision, LLC (“Renewed Vision”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it as set forth in this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”). The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform users of our website located at https://renewedvision.com/ (“Site”) and any of our other products, services, or other manners in which we may process your personal data (collectively, together with the Site, the “Services”) of the following:

  1. The personal data we will collect;
  2. Use of collected personal data;
  3. The legal basis for processing personal data;
  4. Who has access to the personal data collected;
  5. The rights of users of the Services; and
  6. The Sites cookie policy.

By using the term “personal data” in this Privacy Policy, we mean any information that can be used to identify you.

Personal Data We Collect 

We may collect the following categories of personal data from you:

How We Use Personal Data 

The personal data we collect may be used for a range of purposes, such as the following (as well as other internal purposes that you would reasonably expect a business to conduct):

Legal Basis for Processing

We may disclose all the categories of your personal data that we collect to the following categories of recipients:

  2. Business partners and service providers: we may disclose personal data to our business partners and service providers for the purposes set out above, which include our analytics and ad providers.

  5. In the context of a transaction: we may disclose personal data in the context of a transaction with potential transaction partners, service providers, advisors, and other third parties, such as in connection with a merger, asset sale, financing, liquidation, bankruptcy, or dissolution. 

We are not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of linked sites.

Personal Data Transfer

Renewed Vision is based in the United States, where we provide our Services from. Where we provide our Services to organizations based outside of the United States, we and our business partners and service providers take commercially reasonable efforts to put in place appropriate safeguards to personal data (such as contractual commitments) in accordance with applicable legal requirements to provide adequate protection for any transferred personal data.

How Long We Store Personal Data 

User personal data will be stored until the purpose the data was collected for has been achieved. When deciding how long to keep your personal data after our relationship has ended, we may retain some personal data for limited purposes, such as our legal compliance or to enforce or defend our legal rights. 

How We Protect Your Personal Data 

In order to protect your personal data, we use browser encryption and store all of our data on servers in secure facilities. All personal data is only accessible to our employees who need to know such personal data to provide the Services. Our employees are bound by confidentiality agreements.

While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure that user personal data is secure and that users are protected, there always remains the risk of harm. The Internet as a whole can be insecure at times and therefore, we are unable to guarantee the security of user personal data.

Your Rights as a User 

Depending on where you reside, you may have the following rights under applicable data privacy law:

  1. Right to be informed;
  2. Right of access;
  3. Right to rectification;
  4. Right to erasure;
  5. Right to restrict processing;
  6. Right to data portability;
  7. Right to withdraw consent; and
  8. Right to object

Please note that we may require additional information from you to verify your request or that you are authorized to act on behalf of another, which may consist of identifiers or service history already known to or collected by us.  In limited circumstances, we are processing your personal data as a “processor” or “service provider” on behalf of our customer. If we are, we might redirect you to the customer’s privacy policy for more information on such customer’s privacy practices or to exercise your rights under applicable data privacy laws. 

 

Children

We do not knowingly collect or use personal data from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 years of age, the personal data will be deleted as soon as possible. 

Do Not Track Notice 

Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that you can set in certain web browsers. We do not track the users of our Site over time and across third party websites and therefore do not respond to browser-initiated DNT signals.

Cookie Policy 

A cookie is a small file, stored on a user’s hard drive by a website. Its purpose is to collect data relating to the user’s browsing habits. You can also choose to disable cookies entirely in your internet browser, but this may decrease the quality of your user experience.

We use the following types of cookies on our Site:

Modifications

This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to our data practices. When we amend this Privacy Policy we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this Privacy Policy. We recommend that our users periodically review our Privacy Policy to ensure that they are notified of any updates. If necessary, we may notify users by email of changes to this Privacy Policy.

If you have any complaints about how we process your personal data, please contact us through the contact methods listed in the Contact Information section below so that we can, where possible, resolve the issue. If you feel we have not addressed your concern in a satisfactory manner you may contact the supervisory authority in your jurisdiction. You also have the right to directly make a complaint to a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.

California Privacy Policy

This portion of our Privacy Policy (“California Privacy Policy”) applies exclusively to California residents and provides California residents with certain information under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”). 

Categories of Personal Data Collected: Renewed Vision may collect the following categories of personal data from you:

  1. Identifiers and other personal information, such as name, address, internet protocol address, email address, telephone number, account name, or other similar identifiers.
  2. Commercial information, such as records of personal property. 
  3. Internet or other electronic activity information, such as search history and information regarding your interaction with an internet website application or advertisement.
  4. Audio, electronic, visual, or other similar information. 
  5. Financial information, such as bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or other financial information. 
  6. Sensitive personal information, such as religious or philosophical beliefs. 

Categories of Sources of Personal Data: Renewed Vision may have collected the categories of personal data listed above either directly from you, from your devices, or we may process such personal data on behalf of our customers. 

Business or Commercial Purposes for Collecting Personal Data: Renewed Vision may have collected the categories of personal data listed above for any of the business or commercial purposes listed in the “How We Use Personal Data” section of this Privacy Policy. 

“Sale” or “Sharing” of Personal Data: Renewed Vision does not “sell” or “share” (as such terms are defined under the CCPA) your personal data. Accordingly, we have not “sold” or “shared” your personal data to third parties, and we do not have actual knowledge that we “sell” or “share” the personal data of consumers under the age of 16. 

Personal Data Retention: Renewed Vision will only keep your personal data for so long as set out in the “How Long We Store Personal Data” section of this Privacy Policy. 

Categories of Personal Data Disclosed to Third Parties: Renewed Vision may have disclosed the categories of personal data listed above to the third parties listed in the “Personal Data Disclosure” section above in this Privacy Policy for the business or commercial purposes” listed in the “How We Use Personal Data” section above in this Privacy Policy. 

CCPA Rights: To the extent that we collect personal data that is subject to the CCPA and act as a “business” under the CCPA, your rights as a California resident under the CCPA are described below. 

In most situations when providing our Services, we are processing your personal data as a “service provider” on behalf of our customers. In those situations, you should refer to the customer’s privacy policy for more information on such customer’s privacy practices or to exercise your rights under the CCPA. 

If you are a California resident, 

  1. Right to Know: you have the right to know the categories of personal data collected about you, the categories of sources of that information, the business or commercial purposes for which we collect it, the categories of third parties with whom we disclose it, and the specific pieces of personal data we have collected about you.
  2. Right to Delete: subject to certain exemptions, you have the right to request that we delete any personal data that we have collected from you.
  3. Right to Correct: you have the right to correct personal data that we maintain about you.
  4. Right Not to Receive Discriminatory Treatment: you have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for the exercise of your privacy rights under this California Privacy Policy.

Renewed Vision does not use or disclose “sensitive personal information” (as defined under the CCPA) of California residents outside of the following purposes: (1) performing our service or providing goods; (2) detecting security incidents; (3) resisting malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal actions; (4) ensuring physical safety; (5) for short-term transient use, including certain non-personalized advertising; (6) maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, verifying customer information, or providing similar services; and (7) verifying and maintaining the quality or safety of a service or product to improve, upgrade, or enhance a service or product. Accordingly, we do not provide the right to limit the use or disclosure of your sensitive personal information under the CCPA. 

How to Submit a Request: You may submit a request to exercise your California privacy rights by emailing us at us [email protected]. You may also authorize an agent to make such a request by contacting us through this email, disclosing that they are your “authorized agent” and providing your last and first name in connection with the request. Before we can honor your requests, we may confirm that you or your authorized agent are the requesting party. In addition, depending on the type of request and the categories of the information subject to the request, we may request verifying information from the requesting party, such as identifiers already known to or collected by us. In some circumstances, we may redirect you to our customer on whose behalf we are processing personal information.
