Development Manager/Product Owner

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and engaging product owner to join our team. In this position, you will lead our Mac and Windows development teams and be responsible for leading the development and launch of all Renewed Vision Products. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understating of data analytics, Agile Methodologies, project management, and an understanding of the purpose and use of Renewed Vision’s products.

Job Role

  • Lead our development team in meeting expectations, deadlines, and quality needs
  • Communicate Product Vision and make decisions on engineering and design options
  • Create, prioritize, and maintain the Product backlog.
  • Help write software requirements and user stories
  • Work with Stakeholders to determine future direction of software
  • Remove impediments to successful development and ensure team meets deadline and goals
  • Help the Scrum Master organize and manage Sprint Review/Sprint Planning Meetings

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in live production environment, ideally with Renewed Vision Products and video tools.
  • At least 2 years experience leading a team and project managing
  • Excellent verbal communication and leadership skills
  • Experience leading teams in complex environments and achieving goals and deadlines
  • Programming experience is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with Agile Development a plus, but not required

Quality Assurance Engineer (QA)

We’re looking for an experienced QA engineer to help oversee the testing and deployment of our applications.

Applicant requirements

  • Be an exceptional team player
  • Strong people skills and a knack for problem solving
  • Excellent troubleshooting/root cause isolation skills.
  • Ability to jot down pertinent issue characteristics and detect duplicates quickly
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for process improvements
  • Work with minimal direction toward predetermined goals, and be able to quickly become proficient with new tools and software
  • Familiarity with software test procedures

Additional Skills in these areas is a plus (one or more of the following)

  • Familiarity with C/C++ and Java a plus
  • Familiarity with languages used in test automation a plus (e.g. Swift, Javascript)
  • Shell scripting expert
  • Expert in at least one other widely used language such as Python or Perl

Graphics/Video Programmer

Graphics/Video programmer needed for continued development of graphics-heavy Mac and Windows desktop applications.

Applicants must possess

  • Cross platform (Mac/Windows) experience
  • Versatility with OpenGL, DirectX, OpenCL, or related shader languages
  • Experience with broadcast standard outputs and video engineering standards
  • Video compression/decopression experience (AVLib experience is a plus)
  • Render Engine Design
  • Multi-Thread rendering

Additional Skills in these areas is a plus (one or more of the following)

  • AJA or Blackmagic Design API experience is a plus
  • Audio experience

Windows Software Engineer

Work with and develop software for live presentation and Audio/Video Production. Develop PC software and demonstrate products, key applications and engineer exciting new products in the video industry. Responsible for comfort programming in .NET frameworks, WPF interface development, software developing for 32 and 64 bit environments, writing and debugging quality code within SVN system. Responsible for object-oriented principles and memory management and PC product development using C, C++, and C#.

Academic Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree plus five months in the job offered or related position involving the following:

  • Comfort programming in .Net frameworks
  • WPF interface development
  • Write and debug quality code working within SVN system
  • PC product development (C, C++, C#)
  • Object oriented principles and memory management

Note: Position is based in North Atlanta area and requires candidate to work out of our Alpharetta office.

Macintosh Software Engineer

Experienced Cocoa programmer to work with and develop software for live presentation and audio/video production. Applicants must have at least 3-5 years of experience developing Mac software and demonstrate products they’ve developed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop components in Swift and Objective-C, for our key applications and engineer exciting new products

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree
  • At least 1-3 years of experience developing software on macOS
  • Ability to write and debug quality code working in a collaborative environment
  • A keen sense of object-oriented principles and memory management
  • Highly resourceful and self-motivated with strong design and analytical skills

Additional Skills and Experience Needed (one or more of the following)

  • Unit Testing
  • Multi-threading
  • Serial communication
  • Client-server network based applications
  • Remote file management and synchronization
  • Experience within an Audio/Video production environment

Customer Service and Support Associate

Outgoing individual with good interpersonal skills to handle sales and support calls, customer and reseller training, and other tasks to meet our growing needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and experience using our products in a production environment. We are looking for self-starting “go getters” who love to help people.
